Today was the opening of the IT Show 2009....
Went there by train...not by car...haha...
Reached there like about 12.30pm...Not really crowded yet..but still squeezy at the escalator area...
You can see people dragging trolleys of printers around the area of cityhall...
Directly went to the 4th floor where all the notebooks are....
Walked around Hp and dell..but the offers ain't tat attractive...
About Dell studio 15, it was told that it is out of the stock for the moment...
Have to order it through online..and obvious my dad doesn't want that...
He seems to have a bad impression of dell...
So went back over to HP, asked about their current student promo...
The graphics card is Nvidia Geforce G 105m...Not that attractive like the previous Hp student promo...and again i just skipped this booth...
Walked around and see...picked up lenovo and nec brochures...
Seem to forgot to take fujitsu and toshiba brochures...
But again both lenovo and nec their offers again are not attractive...
For poly students who wants to get lenovo...i recommend u to get it through your own particular poly...its more worth it...
For NEC, the current 1.5k model is a 17inch and weighs 3.5kg i think...
Too heavy for mobility...so i just gave up on that one...
Moved on to ASUS...man...better offers lor...
Compared to others...ASUS price is more worth it...
Found a model F81Se...Nice specs at a price of 1.7k...
And with a gift of 250gb ext hdd,carrying bag,optical mouse and some security suite...
But the installment part of the payment is a hassle la...
Spend almost like 15mins settling that...
And end up with a dumb 5 bucks United square voucher...waste time...
But coming to the collection of that laptop may take about 1month...
Argh!so long...lol...dun noe whether i have the patience to wait for that...
After that, i just went home...didn't bothered to go up to the 6th floor to hunt for notebook coolers and protective skins...
Have to do that on this coming sat itself then...
